Dime Adventures: Week 8

We're getting so close to the Dime Adventures core rulebook's initial PDF release! As of today, we're commissioned the last of the art (now we're just waiting for the final pieces to come in). We also still need to put together the cover, index the book and do some final proofing. The rest is complete! This means that we're on track for an initial PDF release to backers either at the end of this month, or at the beginning of May!

The next task on our agenda is indexing the core book. A job this size is likely to take a few days. After that, however, our attention turns from the core to the various add-ons and supplements unlocked by the campaign! Some of these require more work than others, so we'll likely tackle the easier ones first. This gets the quicker tasks out of the way and lets us focus on fewer remaining add-ons.

Week's Progress

Here is a bulleted list of everything we've accomplished in the past week.

• The last of the filler art was added to the core rulebook. The table of contents has been generated. Page references have been added and linked. We've finished editing the included backer characters. The character sheet was inserted.
• We commissioned the last of the new artwork. Now we just wait for these final pieces to come in.
• World's Fair was sent to the editor and we expect it back this week.
• A small amount of writing progress was made on Ready-Made Heroes.
• So far 9 of the 11 characters for the Character/Boss backers are complete. We still have yet to hear from 2 backers. The deadline has passed for the inclusion of these characters in the core rulebook, but there is still room in the various unlocked supplements.
