This week's Freebie Spotlight highlights the last of the equipment references planned for release, providing useful descriptions for all of the general equipment lacking descriptive blocks in the Saga Machine core rulebook--clothing, food and travel--as well as rearranging all items into alphabetical order for their category. Freebie Spotlight: Saga Machine SRD

As has been mentioned before (although maybe not on the TabBlog itself), Saga Machine is an open role-playing system, released under the popular Open Game License. Freebie Spotlight: Alternate Action Mechanics

If you're familiar with Saga Machine you know it's basic action mechanic involves rolling three ten-sided dice and using the middle result. In this Freebie Spotlight we present out first set of alternate rule options, this time focusing on different possible core action mechanics. Included in the spotlight are rules for how to change Saga Machine's core mechanic to use 3d4-2 (for a steeper bell curve) or use 1d10 (for a simple, linear set of results).
