Oh boy, it's been quite a while since we had out last freebie spotlight. But this quarter shan't be entirely devoid of them. Therefore, without further ado, I present to you: Random Stat Generation & Card-Based Alternate Action Mechanic. It's a long title, but this freebie is twofold. First, it has an alternate means of generating a character's stats through random rolls, for those who like that sort of thing. Then, it also includes an alternate action mechanic for determining success or failure through the use of a standard poker deck--much in the spirit of Tab-System Classic.
