Does anyone know what comic the quote: “Lord, rain your fires down on me. Purge me from the earth, for I am an abomination in Your eyes and my own.” is from?

I suggest looking in the Demon book.

The 10 quotes are for a Promethean contest they're doing– if you can figure out all 10 and e-mail them in you get put in a drawing for a signed poster and promethean brain. I have 9 of them so far, and that last one is throwing me. >_<
At first I thought it was from the book of Job, but apparently it's from a comic book.

Was there a motif or a trend to the sources? Because I'm still thinking it's from Demon: The Fallen.

The motif is that it's for the new game Promethean: The Created. Other than that not much– there was Mary Shelly, a line from Dante's Inferno, a quote from Pablo Picasso…
And somebody from White Wolf said later that since people were having so much trouble with that 3rd quote they'd give the hint that it was in a comic book, and available online.

Ctrl+Alt+Delete?
Penny Arcade?
VG Cats?
Sluggy Freelance?

Maybe Girl Genius? That was originally an actual comic book–not just a webcomic–before it was made available online.
Edit: That quote also sounds a lot like some Neil Gaimon comics, but I don't know any available online.

Neil Gaimon was my guess too. Somebody else on the White Wolf forum said it was from Hellboy, but I didn't think Hellboy was available online. :?

Try Ghost Rider?
Maybe Hulk…..they have a character named the abomination….
