Quick answer: the dice rules are less dramatic than the cards, but functional. There may need to be a slightly higher chance of critically failing which while “bad” also results in interesting events and moxie-refreshing. I think moxie works well with it. I agree with what what the others said. I don't mind things being a little more predictable.

Also dodging is just kind of like statistically better because of the lack of adders to make your life sad.
