Playtest Report: Shadows Over Sol #2

Progress on Shadows Over Sol is coming right along. In the last week the first draft of the game was finished, a few more revisions to the rules were made and the open beta of the game was updated to its second phase. This draft of the game stands at around 110,909 words, and the second playtest has already been downloaded quite a few times. This version of the playtest includes our new vehicles, engineering and hacking systems. Feedback from the first playtest was invaluable for improving the game. We hope the feedback keeps coming....

Shadows Over Sol Open Beta #2

Today we are pleased to announce the beginning of the second phase of the open beta for Shadows Over Sol, our upcoming science fiction horror roleplaying game. Taking into account the feedback we received during the first open beta, we have made numerous fixes and tweaks to the game. Shadows Over Sol uses the latest iteration of the Saga Machine system - the same system used by Against the Dark Yogi....

Tab Update: Q1 2015

Things have been remarkably busy in Tab Creations-land - so busy that we even missed our Tab Update last quarter. But rest assured, this update covers everything we've done in the past year, as well as everything we're planning for the upcoming year....

Virtual Tabletops

Virtual tabletop (VTT) applications are great. I remember playing some great campaigns over OpenRPG back in the day, and run a campaign over MapTools for a bit. That said, VTTs also have their limitations, especially when it comes to trying to emulate the in-person RPG experience....

Ganjifa Back on Amazon

After a three-week absence from Amazon, our Ganjifa: Indian Playing Cards are once again available. The reason for the absence is that we did not want a repeat of last year when Amazon removed the cards for purchase for the duration of the holiday season. As a side effect, we've moved to Amazon doing the fulfilling for purchased cards.
