Trystell: Reborn Logo Unveiled

Progress keeps being made on Tab Creations' offerings, and today I would like to officially unveil the new logo for the Trystell: Reborn setting. Just look below....

First Quarter 2010 Tab Update

This last quarter has been a busy and productive one for the Tab Creations Collective. We've not only released two Trystell: Reborn supplements and a Freebie Spotlight, but we've made substantial progress on other projects as well, including the secret project mentioned last in our Third Quarter Tab Update last year....

Trystell: Reborn -- Lifepath Module Released!

The long-promised Trystell: Reborn -- Lifepath Module is finally here! We just barely managed to fir it into this quarter, but in the end we made our deadline. Follow the link above and you can see it. It comes in at 74 pages, and at 66,443 words, it's bigger than some novels. Included in this character creation system are zillions of possible character creation outcomes, including tables for over 20 regions, over 20 career pursuits, and lots and lots of secondary possibilities from injury tables to finding artifacts....

Trystell: Reborn -- More Traits & Equipment

I am proud to announce the release of a new Trystell: Reborn supplement, and the second in the line! Here it is: Trystell: Reborn - More Traits & Equipment! This 8-page supplement contains a variety of additional traits and equipment options for a Trystell character. Included in the supplement are a variety of Trystell-specific Dual-Techs and Limit Breaks, with information on how those techniques fit into the setting. Also included are a selection of minor spells (called "cantrips") for both kalid and lunar mages, a equipment list of prosthetics for characters injured in battle, and more!...

Freebie Spotlight: Lifepath Worksheet

I was helping walk a person through a test of the upcoming Trystell Reborn -- Lifepath Module the other day and she said to me, "This would really go a lot smoother if I had a sheet to fill out, to help know where everything went." And that got me thinking; she was right, a sort of work sheet would help lifepath character creation go a lot smoother. So with that in mind, I set out and created the Trystell Reborn: Lifepath Worksheet. And since the Lifepath Module isn't even out yet, this sheet should give you a sneak peek into what sort of things the Lifepath Module has in store....

Fourth Quarter 2009 Tab Update

It's the last quarter of the year, and time for another Tab Update. It's been a slow quarter for Tab, but there has been some ongoing development. Let me sum it up:...

Tab Creations on Facebook

Since it was discussed at the last Tab meeting that we should leverage social networks to help promote the Collective, we went ahead and made a Facebook page for Tab Creations. Now you can add the page to your Facebook profile, comment on the Collective there and do other social networking stuff. Tab events, such as the con presence we discussed at the last meeting should also be posted there....

Third Quarter 2009 Tab Update

Another quarter has passed, and we've recently had our usual summer Tab meeting. While there haven't been any new releases this quarter, we have had definite progress made on a number of fronts. Let me sum up:...

Freebie Spotlight: Random Stats & Cards

Oh boy, it's been quite a while since we had out last freebie spotlight. But this quarter shan't be entirely devoid of them. Therefore, without further ado, I present to you: Random Stat Generation & Card-Based Alternate Action Mechanic. It's a long title, but this freebie is twofold. First, it has an alternate means of generating a character's stats through random rolls, for those who like that sort of thing. Then, it also includes an alternate action mechanic for determining success or failure through the use of a standard poker deck--much in the spirit of Tab-System Classic....

Second Quarter 2009 Tab Update

This quarter, things are still cranking away at Tab Creations, even if they are progressing a little slower than we would have liked. Like many times before, things have been slowed because we attempted to bite off more than we could chew at once....
