Tab-System Classic Written!

I finished the writing Tab-System Classic today, with the final word count being 48,700 words and totaling 65 pages of pure card-based gaming. Included in the book is a revised, setting-neutral version of the old Swords & Arrows card-based system. Also included in the appendices are rules for running the game set in Trystell, The Zeotis, as well as the Antarctic Expedition campaign we played that crossed Arth with Nexus Endtime....

First Quarter 2008 Tab Update

As you read this work on Tab-System Classic nears completion. The book is almost all put together, The only parts remaining really are the bestiary and the appendix. It ought to be available on the site in PDF by the end of February, when I plan to open it up for beta testing. Please, check it out then. Point out typos. Run a one-shot and give feedback. The more the better, and the better we can make the final version of game when it is printed up. (Print copies surely will be available by the summer trip to Manhattan.)...

Introducing the New Website

As of today the new version of the Tab Creations website has gone live. This new version of the website features an improved style, easier management and for the first time ever: an integrated products page! Just look at the link to the right; it's got all Tab Creations' books, as well as a number of nifty branded items....

Tab-System Neo Preview 3 & Tab-System Classic Preview 2

I have new previews uploaded of Tab-System Neo and Tab-System Classic. Tab-Neo is now over twice the length of the former preview. That's almost 70 pages long! It now includes the full combat system, as well as part of the environment module and some traits, actions and consequences listed in the appendices. At this point the game is also just playable as a game in its own right. Next I'll work on finishing the Environment Module and then do the Mental Module (which will include the spell system)....

Tab-System Neo Preview 2 + Tab-System Classic Preview

I have now uploaded to the site a new preview of Tab-System Neo. You can get it HERE. This new version includes several corrections to the material seen in the last preview, as well as a completely new chapter covering the Character Design Module (character creation and character advancement). The work is now 34 pages long, but I expect it to be over 100 once complete. (Also note that I have yet to add artwork to the document.)...

"Trystell Campaign Setting Revised" in Print

In the very near future I will be placing an order for copies of the "Trystell Campaign Setting Revised" to be professionally bound and printed. I can order hardback or softcover copes. Hardback copies are $23 and softcover copies are $10....

Tab-System Neo Preview

I have been working on the new Tab-System Neo system recently and have gotten the first few chapters mostly complete. This being the case, and since there was some question on the forums about the new system and its nature, I have decided to post a preview of what I have written so far. You can find the preview file HERE. The previews includes the introduction and the chapter on the basic mechanics. It does not include information about thye combat system, character creation or other systems. Those are yet to be written, but hopefully I will have a preview of them in the upcoming weeks, as I write more....

Nexus Endtime Complete

The write up for Nexus Endtime was completed yesterday. You can find it on the so-named link to the left or on the wiki....

What I'm Working On

Now that I have the new site up and have gotten decision-making for the Trystell revision underway, I figured I'd share with people what I've got queued up to work on for Tab....

New Tab Site Released

After a long time of having the old navigation bar at the top of the page, the new Tab Creations Collective page has been released. This new page features expanded information about the different Tab games, a flash chat room, a new web log system for the front page and a new skin for the forums. Additionally, the revision of Trystell currently underway has gotten its own sub-forum within the Collective forum....
