Freebie Spotlight: AP & Reaction Updates

Here we have the first of a new round of Freebie Spotlights that show off some of the revisions and optional rules in use in our upcoming Arth alternate history setting. This Freebie Spotlight is Action Point & Reaction Updates. In this document you will find ways to speed up combat when using the Action Point system, as well as a different take on the Reaction mechanic, making it very much like the Recognition system found in the Saga Machine Companion....

Arth Character Sheet

As we've made progress with the Arth alternate history setting, we are proud to release the official Arth Character Sheet. As one can see from the sheet, the Action Module presented in the upcoming Arth booklet tweaks the Saga Machine rules significantly. In the upcoming weeks we will be releasing many of these new rules as Freebie Spotlights, so stay tuned....

We've been busy bees....

New Website!

It's been several years since out last big website revision, and we are now proud to show off the new Tab Creations Collective website! As you can see (or will if you haven't refreshed your browser cache yet), the website has changed significantly. The navigation bar is on the right, the formatting has changed and we're integrated our wiki accounts into the main page. But all of the old content is here and easier to find that ever! (Well... with the exception of the chat room, but that's because the chat room service we used was discontinued.) So enjoy the new site!...

The Trystell: Reborn Hardback is Upon Us!

After a very long wait it has finally arrived. Coming in at 292,101 words and 368 pages, the final Trystell: Reborn hardback is here! Now the Trystell: Reborn setting can be fully enjoyed using the Saga Machine role-playing system! Needless to say, the full setting book is available as a PDF on our website at the above link, or in print form through the Tab Store....

Trystell: Reborn - Gazetteer, the Final Supplement

The final supplement in our long line leading up to the release of the final Trystell: Reborn hardback is upon us! This supplement, Trystell: Reborn -- Gazetteer, details all of the regions on Trystell and provides stats, descriptions and other useful gaming information--both for knowledgeable players and for GMs. What's more, this is one of our longest PDF supplements thus far! Standing at roughy 44,000 words, it spans 63 pages of gaming goodness, complete with a variety of full-color region maps, and stats for every lage settlement on the surface of Trystell!...

Trystell: Reborn - History Released

It's here: the next Trystell: Reborn PDF supplement. This time we release Trystell: Reborn -- History, a supplement that details the expanded background of Trystell's history, from Creation all the way to the Present Day. Also included are articles on various legends and myths on Trystell, including the ominous Nine Signs of the Apocalypse....

Trystell: Reborn - Races Released

The next PDF supplement leading up to the release of the final Trystell: Reborn hardback is now online and released! This supplement Trystell: Reborn -- Races details all of the races and sub-races available for play in theTrystell: Reborn setting, with information pertaining to what it is likely to be that species and the sorts of views and traditions held by those various peoples....

Second Quarter Tab Update 2012

This quarter has been one of slow, steady progress. While we didn't get as much done as we had planned (life getting in the way of game writing), we did manage to make solid progress on our game lines. This quarter saw the release of two Trystell: Reborn supplements, meaning there are only three left to release before the finalTrystell: Reborn hardback is put together and finally released. And of those three remaining supplements, two have seen significant progress in their writing. Expect one of them to be finished and released in the upcoming couple weeks....
